The Southwest Part One

October 1, 2012 - January 1, 2013

Left Boulder October 1st and headed south!  Enjoyed the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque.  Then set up for a long stay at Mesa Regal with a few side trips. We left Mesa Regal headed for San Diego to board Holland America’s Statendam for a cruise to Hawaii and the South Pacific.

Snowbird October 2010 - February 2011

October 2010 - February 16, 2011

In early October, we left our summer nest in Boulder, Colorado, and started south as fledgling snowbirds heading for a long stay at an RV resort in Mesa, Arizona. Like most other snowbirds, we were usually found occupying two poolside chairs as our reward for enduring the perils of migration.

The big question: Are we going to like our new, slower lifestyle?  Time will tell.
By February, we took time out for a long cruise; first to Mexico;
 then to Hawaii. Owen came with us—kind of!
