Arizona 2009

November 6, 2009 - January 11, 2010

Our goal for this winter, and our future winters, has changed.  Rather than traveling continuously, Ratherby has decided, now that he’s getting older and has a friend in tow, that he would “rather be” spending time staying in special places for longer periods of time.  We found RV spots we loved in Tucson and Mesa, and after month-long tests, decided they were worth multi-month stays in the future.  Quartzsite, where 75,000 RVs gather in a herd during season, will also be worth a week (maybe).

New Mexico 2009

October 24 - November 5, 2009

As soon as we flew back to Boulder from Mexico in October, we started heading south and played in New Mexico for awhile.

The Southwest & California 2008 - 2009

October 10 - January 25, 2009

We called New Mexico, Nevada, and California “home” for awhile.  We loved being among friends at the Jojoba Hills Escapee Park in Southern California. A wonderful place with wonderful people.

Ajijic Mexico 2009

October 6 - October 20, 2009

We took a two-week fly-in vacation to Ajijic, a suburb of Guadalajara, and a place that is near Mexico’s largest lake, Lake Chapala. It is a beautiful location in this “Land of Eternal Spring.”  We didn’t take our computer with us to make HugCards, but I took lots and lots of photos that I made into a slideshow.  (Sorry, but I can’t put that slideshow on the Internet without permission from a friend first.)
