In San Diego, we hooked up with an Airstream caravan--twenty-five rigs--and traveled together down—and back up—the Baja California peninsula in Mexico. Take the trip with us!
(Postcards, for the most part, were“on hold” while we visited with the Colorado grandkids in Steamboat Springs and Boulder.) We toured the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. And finally—after all these years—we drove through the Garden of the Gods near Pikes Peak. It is no wonder that this view inspired Katherine Lee Bates to write the poem that became the lyrics for “America the Beautiful.”
